The Templestowe Bowling Club since its founding in 1948, has been the most successful Club in the Manningham municipality in terms of the number of Pennant finals won. And today it still maintains this high standard of success.
During the year the Club participates in numerous levels of bowling competition:
- Saturday Pennant from October to March
- Midweek (usually Tuesday)
- Social bowling on Club green on a Wednesday afternoon and by booking for groups on other days.
- Inter-Club Competitions within the Municipality
- On an annual basis we compete against the Eildon Bowling Club for the “Black Spur Trophy” and Yarra Valley Bowling club for the “Sinclair Trophy”

Experienced and new bowlers have the following bowling options:

NB – New Bowlers are provided with skilled coaching and bowls to practice with, before being able to participate at a competitive level.
During the season if Club members feel they need specialist coaching, this is readily available.
